The long anticipated day has come. Today we had a successfull launch of GatherWay V. 2.0 which brings you all the requested features and some other nice improvements in addition. Download: www.gatherway.net/downloads/gw_setup.ex e The gather system got many improvements like Auto-TS/Ventrilo connect functions, gather statitics, gather access restrictions and many more. The messenger now supports the IRC protocol which means that you can use GatherWay as stand alone irc client while browsing thousand of player profiles and finding train partners and playing gathers. We also combined the accounts of the GatherWay client with our homepage which meas that you gain access to the page by just registering through the client. (All old users don't have to register a new account. We ported them into our CMS and the new GatherWay database.) We wish you all happy gathering! Your GatherWay-Team! |

Today we sent out our press release. All magazines, online portals etc. have now the chance to be the first of testing the brand new version GatherWay V.2.0 before its official launch on September 13th 11AM GMT +2. If you are a member of an online magazine or something similar and have not recieved a mail from us but want to test the software too feel free to contact us so we can put you on our mailing list. In order to guarantee you a perfect launch of the new version we decided to expand the testing phase for one week. We will fix some last minute issues and double check the new server. Dear Community! Due to never ending server problems we had to completely restructure our back-end ressources. That caused a long offline time for GatherWay. In the meanwhile we worked hard to conversion all the good feedback you gave us. That brings me to the main part of this news: GatherWay v.2.0 is coming! On September 6th the new version will be released on this new website.
